Do you build on land I already own?
Yes. The majority of our custom home clients come to us with a lot already selected. We'll conduct a site visit to assess access, grading, utilities, and any site-specific considerations before we begin design.
Can I bring my own architect's plans?
Absolutely. We work with client-provided plans regularly. We'll review them with our engineer and flag anything needing adjustment before construction begins.
Do you offer a fixed-price contract?
We price every project individually based on materials, labor, and scope — we do not use standardized square-foot pricing. We provide detailed line-item estimates and work with you to align the build with your budget before signing.
How long does a custom home take to build?
Typically 8 to 18 months from groundbreak to completion, depending on size, design complexity, and permitting. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the estimating phase — not a number designed to win the bid.
Is financing available?
Yes. CMB offers on-site project financing. Ask us about options when you reach out.
Do you build in Whitefish, Bigfork, and Columbia Falls?
