Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during a site visit?
Before starting construction, someone from our team will visit the potential site to gather necessary information for financial estimates and drawings/designs. This may include preliminary measurements, code, and assessing the scope of project, potential safety issues and/or unforeseen complications. Site visits will be conducted during construction to ensure quality, assess potential complications and provide opportunity on work.
What necessary steps can I expect before building starts?
After the initial site visit, our team will review your vision for the project, desired materials and any partial or complete plans you may have. If plans are needed, we have a draftsman or architect draw them and then we have our engineer verify what we create for the build is buildable. Based on project plans, subcontractors and material suppliers are contacted to create construction estimates. After approval of the project estimate, a contract is drafted and initial deposit requested. We then move on to permitting
What is the price per square foot?
In order to ensure the best price, we individually price projects based on the materials used and labor for that scenario. We do not have standardized square foot pricing.
How are projects estimated?
The process of estimating the price depends heavily on project type and scope. General factors considered for all projects include material pricing, anticipated labor cost, subcontractor costs, required documentation, and special project requirements are all considered when estimating.
How long to projects take to get started?
Typically between 2 weeks and 6 months. Start dates are influenced by factors such as design plans, acquiring materials, and permitting.
Does the client need to order any material or fixtures?
No, we will order any necessary material after a selection has been made. This is critical to scheduling and jobsite performance.
